One of the best BBQ places in Springfield, it could be mistaken for being from Kansas City. I especially like their homemade sauces mixed with the wings. The sweet potato fries is the top side option among many people I know. The service is quick, I never have to wait more than eight minutes. They're popular but never overcrowded

Went in drive thrue took 30 min was not offered of givin any sauce napkins or silverwear very small sides its good food but not worth it

First of all this place is terrible period. Potato salad is white nasty stuff NOT bbq potato salad. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was a premade pressed patty served on a freezing cold bun. Absolutely terrible!!!! Worst bbq place in Springfield by far.

Incredible BBQ worth giving a try! The wings are outstanding, they can sometimes sell out before lunch ends so get there early!

Pretty damn good! I think they use cream cheese in the potato salad. Why wouldn't everyone put cream cheese in potato salad. The bark on the brisket was light and tasty!

If my husband says it was good, IT WAS GOOD!!! The ultimate platter meat portions was plenty for two to share! However the side of beans was small, but they are really DELICIOUS, would've loved to have more, but the okra was plenty for 2 & the corn was good!!! Overall, highly satisfied!!! Young lady taking our order was very nice and knowledgeable of BBQ

Service is excellent, food is the best bbq ever. Only thing missing was a thick slice of onion. We live it so much went back again and again fantabulous!!!

If you have never tried Bubba's it's a must! Pulled pork is more shredded and it makes it easier to eat on that nice warm bun, go for some slaw, just enough horseradish to make it tasty or go for the backed beans, whatever you choose you will not be disappointed, I wasn't.

We stopped in at Bubba’s on our way traveling to IL from TX. We choose it after reading the reviews from others. Boy we’re they right! We will definitely be stopping in again. My hubby had the original brisket sandwich with their homemade potato salad...it was better than my own! I had the Southern Bell sandwich pork bbq with coleslaw on top-I LOVED IT! Fresh cut fries were served with both and all of it was very delicious. They were very generous portions as well. Now I can’t wait to try the dinners next time we go through! It’s only 2 miles off of Hwy 44 & and soooo worth it! Enjoy!

I came in and ordered pulled pork sandwiche and fries togo today. The order taker asked what kind of sauce I wanted. I asked for ketchup for the fries and was told they didn't have any, she said she guessed they wanted us to use bbq sauce so I used some from a table. Then I noticed there wasn't sauce in in the bag. When I asked for some the seemed put out

1st thing is it’s not overly clean. Meat was good, beans were good, fries were good, sweet potato fries were above average. Sauces were nothing special. I’d eat here again but won’t ever have a craving. West side options are quite limited.

Plan on travelling the state looking for the best barbecue? Search no more! I have already done that. Bubba's is by far the best. I have been here about 10 times now, and it is always as good as the first time. I usually get the 4-meat combo; brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and burnt ends. Every time each bite of meat is tender, juicy, and full of smoke flavor. I was running short on cash this time, so I used the opportunity to try the burger. I have never been so happy to be nearly broke, for that is the first burger I have ever ordered at a restaurant that is right on par with my own burgers which are 2nd only to my son's. Other than the fries, all the sides are the best of their kind anywhere. I recommend the beans. They are on a completely different level than any other BBQ place I have been to.

Absolutely THE BEST smoked meat and barbecue in Missouri. Best ribs I've ever had. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

It was ok. Didn't care for the chicken had a chemical taste. Everything else was good tho.

The food was delicious, I give them a very high rating. For honesty and integrity. I left my phone, took off down the highway. Was going to give them a review. Phone gone. I called several times. They answered after a couple tries. Awesome people put my phone up till we drove 10 miles back to retrieve it.. awesome food awesome people. Highly recommended.

Come try Delicious Ozark Mountain Barbecue conveniently located in Springfield MO! The burnt ends are melt in your mouth fantastic and the fried okra is crispy perfection! The Cole slaw is unique, and possibly an acquired taste 😊. However, everything else my family tried we were very pleased with. This is definitely a great barbecue establishment to visit when in the area.

Service could be better. Their staff seems pretty young,so maybe just a lack of experience. Sides could have also been better. It could have been we'd just gotten there after a VERY long day. Meats were GREAT. We will probably give them another shot in the future.

Food is the best I have had. For a BBQ place, food prices very reasonable for the amount you receive.

Food is beyond great friendly staff and the atmosphere is calming. The furniture and decorations are a delight great pricing too for great food and large portions. We will definitely return.

Fast service.Ribs were Excellent.Cole slaw and potato salad were very good. I didn't care for the sauces, gold (mustard) was my preference of the three. I don't like vinegar.I would recommend it to all.

I've gotten a few things here. It's always good but not the best. I got the Wings last night. Not as much smoke flavor as I like and they were not crispy at all.

Placed the order through Grubhub. Order was not correct and I had to go to the location to get it fixed. They did correct the order although the 1 lb of burnt ends were hard and dry. Could not even chew them. This is not typical of their meats. I have had positive experiences which is why we ordered $100.00 of food for a family get together.

Mediocre bbq. Tried the smoked wings with a jamaican sauce and the burnt ends. Nothing special enough to make me venture to the north side of town again. Spicy sauce had no kick. The gold sauce was too sweet and lacked a vinegar flavor !

(4.5) There’s some great smoke (thou you can’t smell it even inside?) great rub, great sides and a dreaded walk- up order counter. Ribs are St Louis style and very good. Burnt ends are more like smoked roast beef (no char) but so good and tender I didn’t care. The best thing thou was the Ozark Gold BBQ Sauce, original and fantastic. Unfortunately I couldn’t buy a bottle because of the line at the ONE register where all the ordering takes place. This may have been complicated by the worker that was very little help when I asked for suggestions, nice but could use some training or better people skills. Other than that this is the best Q I’ve had this side of Gettin’ Basted in Branson.

Great food, nice environment, clean! Staff is friendly and fun. Beans aren't spicy and full of green peppers...loved them. Meats are tender and tasty. Toast left a little to be desired, but overall a great meal!

As a KC native. This ain't it fam. The burnt ends in my opinion were too dry and tough to be what I considered burnt ends. The potato salad was weird to say the least. The beans were nice though. Next time, I'll try one of their sandwiches to see if they can redeem themselves.

I’ve been three times, every time they were out of burnt ends (twice around noon and once around 1pm). Perhaps I’ll try them for breakfast someday?!? Otherwise, very good brisket, fries, and beans. Service is good.

Good home type bbq some meat a little dry but tasty the bbq sauce was better than what we had over the last three stops. Staff friendly fast service the sides were very good along with the whiskey

I've eaten there several times & it's been good every time. Brisket, Pulled Pork & Burnt Ends are all very good. Their sides of Mac & Cheese, Beans & Fried Okra are also good. Always get takeout there when my son comes to town to visit.

I've eaten at a LOT of local BBQ places, and WOW! This place is a big step above the rest!!! We ordered pretty much every meat on the menu, trying to help local small business right now, and absolutely everything was phenomenal. The ribs, in particular, are the best I've ever had. Tons of meat, extremely flavorful. Would highly recommend!

I had the Turkey Club and it was amazing! The Turkey breast was moist, tender, and had just the right amount of smoke flavor. It was piled high too.

I used to love this place and the ribs used to be so good, but the last hand full of times we were there, the ribs have been so tough and could hardly get the meat off the bone. The rest of the food has been good.

Smoked Salmon is hard to get right, it must be eaten immediately after coming out of the smoker. Unlike Pork or Beef which can be held warm for a long time.You can order a whole Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon with 24 hour notice and it is amazing.If you hit them on a good afternoon the regular Atlantic Salmon is very good.Burnt Ends, Pulled Pork also very good.

On 05/15/2020 at 5:30 pm we placed a delivery order through Grub Hub. We ordered 1 full slab of ribs, 1 coleslaw and 1mac and cheese , and burnt ends. We were delivered 2 slabs of ribs ,BBQ beans, and coleslaw. When we called Bubbas restaurant about recieving the wrong order. The young lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. She told us she couldn't help us. And actually attempted to blame Grub Hub. I'm sure the driver did not , place the wrong food in the container. We did contact Grub Hub and they are not charging us. This was the worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time. I thought the owner would intersted,I know if I had an employee treat a customer in such a manner I would likd

So I live in Texas and BBQ is big there. I'm currently working in Springfield wanted to have BBQ for lunch checked google and this place comes up highest rate. And the review didn't let me down very good food gets to your table fast. Texas sized portions. You will not leave hungry. So what I got is 3 meat combo I chose (burnt ends, brisket, sausage) for my sides you get 2 I chose (fried corn on the cob, Mac n cheese, plus I added fried okra) and a drink for $19.00 it was a big lunch and I know I will be skipping dinner so it worth it. Never had fried corn on the cob it now my new favorite way to have it.( I think that would add a little bit of butter on it and some kind of seasoning you can shake on it that would put it over the top for me)

Amazing it is an absolute wonder, the atmosphere is astonishing, the staff was extremely attentive, helpful and just make you feel right at home. Only negative is I wish there would have been some of those sanitation napkins to wipe my hands but other than absolute perfection

Absolutely aweful. Food was cold, not even luke warm like it was just taken out of the fridge. I ordered 5 meats but only got 4, forgot the plates they said they gave me, and I found hair in the turkey.

Friendly staff & owner! Great great Bar-B-Q!! A lot of very tasty & original food. Perfect atmosphere, bright & cheery. Bub also has a Bar-B-Q store across the street where he sells Bar-B-Q equipment , spices, sauces, charcoal, pits, cutting boards, you name it & it is there! Amazing! Very original! Great experience.
